Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data MyMonit ("we", "us") collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the MyMonit service and website.
1. Data we collect
- Account data — your email address (and name, if you provide one), managed through our authentication provider.
- Monitoring configuration — the URLs and targets you ask us to watch, along with their settings (frequency, conditions, alert channels and their destinations).
- Monitoring results— snapshots of the content of the pages you monitor, check results, response times, and detected changes, retained according to your plan's history window.
- Billing data — handled by Stripe. We do not store your card number; we keep only your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference.
- Technical data — logs and basic diagnostics needed to operate and secure the Service.
2. How we use your data
- to run your monitors and deliver alerts;
- to generate plain-language summaries of detected changes;
- to process payments and manage your subscription;
- to provide support and to keep the Service secure and reliable;
- to comply with legal obligations.
3. Automated change interpretation
When a change is detected, the relevant content or difference from the page you monitor may be sent to our large-language-model provider (Groq) to produce a human-readable summary. That content is processed to generate the summary and is not used to train third-party models.
4. Service providers (sub-processors)
We share data only with providers that help us run the Service, under appropriate terms:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting;
- Stripe — payment processing;
- Resend — transactional and alert emails;
- Groq — automated interpretation of detected changes;
- Hostinger — server infrastructure.
Some of these providers operate in the United States or elsewhere, so your data may be transferred and processed outside your country.
5. Data retention
Check history and snapshots are retained for the window included in your plan; older records are pruned. Account and configuration data are kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your data except where we must retain it to comply with law.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the app. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. You can delete your account at any time, or contact us to exercise any of these rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the LGPD.
8. Security
We protect data in transit with encryption and restrict access to it. No service can be perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to keep your data safe and will notify you of a breach as required by law.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time and will notify you of material changes. Continued use after the changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
