Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MyMonit (the "Service"), operated by Daniel Romero, an individual based in Brazil ("MyMonit", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service does

MyMonit monitors web pages and infrastructure targets that you configure — checking them on a schedule, detecting changes, and notifying you through the channels you set up. Detected changes may be summarized in plain language by an automated model to make alerts easier to act on.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not use the Service to:

  • monitor a target you are not authorized to access, or in a way that violates that target's terms of use, robots.txt, or applicable law;
  • overload, attack, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system — the Service is for monitoring, not for denial-of-service, credential stuffing, or circumventing access controls;
  • collect, store, or process data in violation of privacy or intellectual property laws;
  • resell or expose the Service in a way that competes with us;
  • monitor unlawful content or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We enforce per-plan minimum check intervals and rate limits to protect both target sites and our infrastructure. We may suspend monitors or accounts that we reasonably believe violate this section.

4. Plans, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods unless required by law. Prices may change with prior notice, effective on your next renewal. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

Refunds: You may cancel within 7 days of your first purchase for a full refund, as provided by Brazilian consumer law (Código de Defesa do Consumidor, art. 49). After that, subscriptions are non-refundable for partial periods; you can cancel at any time to stop future renewals.

5. Availability and accuracy

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work hard to be reliable, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, that every change will be detected, or that every alert will be delivered on time. Third-party sites may block, rate-limit, or serve anti-bot challenges that prevent monitoring. You should not rely on the Service as your only safeguard for critical decisions.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyMonit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to our infrastructure.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you (for example, by email or in the app). Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply where you live.
